치명적 병력 부족에 직면해있다 인정하기도 했구요.
한편, 영국 텔레그래프는 우크라 도살장 직원이
징집되서 또다른 도살장인 차시브 야르로 갔다
했는데 훈련을 한 달 정도만 받았다네요.
개전 뒤 이제사 전장에 투입됐단 건 예비군이
아니란 건데 한 달 훈련 받고 전면전 전투를
제대로 할 순 없겠죠.
이 병사는 자기 주위 사람들 중 전사자만
최소 열명 넘는다 했구요.
그리고, 이 병사와 같은 부대엔 완전군장
안 한 상태서 팔굽혀펴기 하는 것도 힘겨워
하는 50대 징집병이 있다는데 병력 소모가
엄청나니 차시브 야르 같은 격전지에 50대를
밀어넣은 거겠죠.

A man stabbed a military enlistment official in
the town of Synelnykove in Dnipropetrovsk
Oblast on May 18, Ukraine's Ground Forces reported.
According to the report, the official sustained
an arm injury.
Ukraine has been working on trying to ramp up
mobilization over the last six months as the country's
military faces an increasingly critical personnel shortage.

Gennady Daskal is no stranger to blood and guts.
Until last month, the 27-year-old was working in an
abattoir in central Ukraine, killing pigs and cows for
a living.
Now, after being conscirpted, he is preparing to enter
a very different kind of slaughterhouse.
As part of a rookie infantry assault unit, he is being
trained up for the Donbas frontline ? the gruelling
combat zone that many nickname the “meatgrinder”.
“I got my draft papers, so here I am,” he told The
Telegraph, as he practised shooting rifles and grenade
launchers at a range in a Donbas clay-pit.
“Of course I’m worried, because I know many guys
who’ve died already ? maybe 10 or 20.
But conscirption isn’t just affecting the young, free
and single, as a glance at the 22nd’s new recruits
makes clear.
Some are men in their 50s who should be contemplating
retirement and struggle to do more than a few press-ups
when asked.
